Mandeep Singh – Head Technical Services
Mandeep Singh is the Head of Technical Services at JP Innovations. With a diploma in Mechanical engineering and close to 20 years of experience in refrigeration, Mandeep has worked with organizations such as Elecmech Engineering Services, Uniflow Refrigeration Co., Embassy of Sultanate of Oman, Superior Films Pvt Ltd, and Aster Technologies Pvt Ltd. He is an expert in installing, commissioning, and servicing food service equipment produced in India or abroad. Mandeep has extensive experience in working with various imported equipment, including Foster, Comenda, Hobart, Salva, MKN, Koldtech, Rational, Berjaya, and APW Wyoa, among others.
Mandeep Singh – Head Technical Services
With over four decades of experience in the hospitality industry,
working with some of the most renowned hospitality brands in India
like ITC Hotels and Taj Group of Hotels, Manoj has served in
corporate leadership roles where he has overseen key functions like
operations, quality, talent and learning services. In his last
assignment, he served as Vice-President Operations, Quality, &
Learning at ITC Hotels.
As a seasoned hotel operations leader, his expertise includes hotel
management agreements, change management, revenue
optimization, business strategy, talent development and, lean six
sigma/quality.
Amongst some of his fond memories in his professional career,
Manoj had championed the early introduction of Six Sigma quality initiatives into business
operations Ð a first of its kind in the hospitality in the early 2000s. He is a certified Master Black Belt
by AIT (USA) and is recognized as a thought leader in the field.
Manoj has also served as the President of Skal in Chennai (3 terms) where he was the Chairman of
the 64th Skal World Congress (the first congress to be hosted in India ). The 5 day event which was
supported by the Ministry of Tourism (GOI) had over 700 foreign delegates from across the world
and was a grand success.
Post-retirement, Manoj frequently provides consulting, education, auditing, and strategic advice for
organizations like Deloitte India, IILM University, Business Clinique, QualStar Hotel Classification
Services, MGM Hospitality Solutions and Signum Hotels & Resorts to name a few.
